Job summary

We work in close collaboration with multiple agencies including Community Learning Disability Services, ICS/ICBs and Local Authority Services.To be successful in this role, you will:
Work in the community and from home. This is a contractor role serving the community in Essex!Have a high degree of empathy and a strong value-base. Communicate calmly and effectively in situations which may be emotionally challenging. Write high-quality reports and present findings to clients, their families / carers and network.Support and train others.Inspire networks to actively commit to overall aims of work Follow all policy and procedures in relation to safeguarding, health and safety, and risk management. Maintain the highest standards of record keeping including electronic data entry and recording through professional self-governance in accordance with professional codes of practice, data security requirements and GDPR principles. Hold up to date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies, and issues in relation to both the specific client group and your professional qualification. Have high levels of professional curiosity and apply that flexibly and dynamically.
Main duties of the job
As a Clinical Reviewer your main duties will include:
Clinical Expert and Chair of Care and treatment Reviews (CTRs)
Writing the KLOE report for CTRs
Ensuring the persons views are heard during a care and treatment review as well as assessing the clinical needs of patients and people within the community who have a learning disability and/or autism.
Leading conversations within multi-disciplinary teams during CTRs
In discussion with the CTR panel devise SMART objectives for the person and their team

Qualifications Essential
Registered Clinician, e.g., Doctor (Psychiatrist), Psychologist, Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, Behaviour Analyst, in good standing with the relevant body Experience of working within transforming care, learning disability, mental health or neurodiverse services
Desirable
Clinical Supervision qualification Non-Medical Prescriber Level 3 in safeguarding adults Oliver McGowan training Experience of working within adult secure services Evidence of relevant CPD Experience as chairing/clinical expert for CTR/CETRs Experience as reviewer for LeDeRs and ILPs
