Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will join our team oftwenty-seven consultant radiologists and resident doctors from KSS Deanery, to deliver general and cardiothoracic imaging including a 1:15 commitment.
As a member of our multi-disciplinary teams, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. The Royal Surrey is renowned for itsstrong research partnerships, particularly with the University of Surrey and the Surrey Cancer Research Institute, making it an ideal environment for those with a passion for research and teaching.

Knowledge and Skills Essential
Able to evaluate own radiological practice Knowledge of legislation relating to radiology e.g. IR(ME)R 2000
Qualifications Essential
Full registration and a license to practice with the GMC Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for Clinical Radiology via CCT (CCT date must be within 6 months of the interview date) or Portfolio Pathway MBBS or equivalent Completion of FRCR or equivalent
Experience Essential
Experience in working within a filmless PACS environment. Experience in Ultrasound scanning Experience, knowledge and skills of all aspects of General Radiology including plain films, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI and Ultrasound Cardiothoracic imaging subspecialist interest CT and Ultrasound guided biopsies including lung biopsies US and CT guided chest drains
