This is an excellent opportunity within Emergency Medicine at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. We are seeking an enthusiastic clinical fellow to join the department to provide
patient care within the trust. You will work as part of the emergency department team.
We will offer you a Study Leave budget of £1,000 per year which will help towards your Continuing Professional Development.

Main duties of the job
Initial resuscitation and management of all emergency patients presenting to the department. Initiation of the necessary investigation of patients and the referral to the relevant on-call specialist team when indicated. Person Specification
Qualifications / Training Essential
Hold a current licence to practice from the General Medical Council Full MRCEM Exam Advanced Life Support Certificate or equivalent
Desirable
Higher degree including: MSc, PhD or MD (not including intercalated BSc and 'Honorary' MA).
Previous Experience Essential
Successful completion of a UK ACCS Emergency Medicine (or equivalent) programme Experience of working in Emergency Medicine at Senior Registrar level or equivalent
Desirable
NHS experience
Academic skills Essential
Evidence of involvement in a quality improvement or formal research project. Evidence of teaching experience and/or training in teaching.
Desirable
Evidence of involvement in teaching students, postgraduates and other professionals and evidence of participation in a teaching course.
Fitness to Practice Essential
Evidence of engagement with appraisal and revalidation
Personal Skills Essential
Demonstrates clarity in written and spoken communication, and capacity to adapt language to the situation, as appropriate.
