We are excited to invite applications for a substantive Consultant Radiologistwith a special interest inPaediatric Imagingto join the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust.
Based in Guildford, we provide a broad range of specialist and general imaging services to a population of over two million, offering cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment services. Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will join our team oftwenty-seven consultant radiologists and resident doctors from KSS Deanery, to deliver general and paediatric imaging including a 1:15 on call commitment.
As a member of our multi-disciplinary teams, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. The department has strong links with regional paediatric services and a weekly paediatric MDT, offering an excellent environment for those with an interest in paediatric radiology, teaching and service development.
We offer mentoring and comprehensive support for professional development, making this an excellent opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced consultants.

Qualifications Essential
Full registration and a license to practice with the GMC Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for Clinical Radiology via CCT (CCT date must be within 6 months of the interview date) or Portfolio Pathway MBBS or equivalent Completion of FRCR or equivalent
Experience Essential
Experience in working within a filmless PACS environment. Experience in Ultrasound scanning Experience, knowledge and skills of all aspects of General Radiology including plain films, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI and Ultrasound
Desirable
CT and Ultrasound guided biopsies
Knowledge and Skills Essential
Knowledge of legislation relating to radiology e.g. IR(ME)R 2000 Paediatric imaging subspecialist interest Able to evaluate own radiological practice
