Main duties of the job
Applications are invited from candidates who have exceptional communications skills and are able to work with a diverse group of services both internally and externally. A sound understanding of community nursing is required along with an appreciation of how Quality drivers will impact the wider services within the Care group. The role requires a forward thinking individual who is aware of current drivers for Community services and has innovative and strong leadership qualities.

Person Specification
qualification Essential
Specialist Community Practitioner - District Nursing or equivalent specialist qualification in Nursing Evidence of further leadership or management study
Desirable
Masters level qualification or working towards Recognised leadership or management training at organisational level
Expereince Essential
Significant postgraduate nursing practice (minimum 2 years' experience as community practitioner team leader and additional clinical leadership in Community services).

oExperience of leading service development, integration or partnership working with other organisations /services
