Job summary
We currently have a vacancy for a Soft Facilities Supervisor at Prince Phillip Hospital. The post holder will be responsible on a day to day basis for ensuring a high standard of Cleaning/Housekeeping Services in accordance with Soft Facilities Work Specifications, Performance Standards and Operational Policies and to act on behalf of the Assistant Operations Manager as necessary.
Other daily duties will include monitoring sickness, allocating annual leave, and disciplinary issues. The successful candidate will need excellent record keeping skills, know how to navigate databases and spreadsheets and have good organisational skills. Full training for the role will be provided.

Main duties of the job
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed individual who is hardworking, motivated, forward thinking and innovative.
The post is demanding and the ideal candidate will have relevant experience of large scale cleaning operations. A relevant qualification such as the City and Guilds 7643 in Cleaning Science would be an advantage . The successful candidates will be required to work between the hours of 12:00pm and 20:00pm and the ability to work flexibly as required will be essential.
The post holder will need to be flexible to work wherever the demand is within the Hotel Facilities Department.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
