Job summary
The post holder will be required to work with Senior Management to support the Scheduling service within the Oral & Maxillofacial / ENT departments in providing effective day-to-day operational management and service improvement.
Main duties of the job
Supervising the schedulers, ensuring theatre lists are fully utilised and prepared properly. Liaise with internal and external colleagues to share patient pathway information and diagnostic information and expedite patient journeys where needed. Ensure trust systems are updated with patient pathway status information and that data quality is maintained. Attend all Theatre meetings, ensuring all required relevant information/data is prepared and availablefor the meetings. Keep an accurate record of team members' annual leave, sickness, and other leave requirements

Education & qualifications Essential
oGCSE's grade C and above, including English or Mathematics
Desirable
oEvidence of management of staff in a similar role
Knowledge & Experience Essential
Experience in an administrative/ scheduling role Experience of working in a patient focused or customer service role, preferably within health or social care Accurate data entry and keyboard skills, computer literate with proficient use of office software including Microsoft Word and Excel
