About this role

Job summary InHealth is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead Audiologist to provide clinical leadership across our national Audiology services. This is an exciting opportunity to influence service delivery, drive clinical excellence, and support the growth of innovative Audiology pathways.

Working closely with operational teams, clinicians, and external stakeholders, you will lead on clinical governance, quality improvement, workforce development, and service transformation. You will play a key role in maintaining IQIPS accreditation, supporting new service development, and ensuring patients receive safe, effective, and high-quality care.

This home-based role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact across multiple sites while remaining clinically active and helping shape the future of Audiology services at InHealth.

Main duties of the job As Clinical Lead Audiologist, you will provide clinical leadership across InHealth's Audiology services, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care. You will lead quality improvement initiatives, oversee clinical governance and audit programmes, support compliance with IQIPS standards, and drive improvements in service performance and patient outcomes.

You will develop and maintain competency frameworks, support recruitment and workforce development, deliver education and CPD programmes, and mentor clinical teams. The role also includes supporting service development, contributing to tender responses, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and working collaboratively with operational and clinical colleagues to optimise patient pathways and service delivery across the organisation.

What you'll be doing As our Clinical Lead Audiologist, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice, governance, and patient experience across our Audiology services.

Clinical leadership and service development Provide expert clinical leadership across multiple Audiology sites nationwide Maintain clinical credibility through regular patient-facing clinical sessions Drive consistency, quality, and efficiency across services Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and best practice guidelines Work closely with operational teams and ENT colleagues to optimise patient pathways Support the development of new Audiology services and private healthcare opportunities Contribute to service specifications, contract mobilisation, and tender responses Quality, governance and compliance Lead clinical audit programmes and quality improvement initiatives Drive improvements in assessment and fitting performance and contractual KPIs Analyse service performance, incidents, complaints, and patient feedback to identify opportunities for improvement Ensure compliance with IQIPS standards and maintain accreditation across services Support investigations, risk management activities, and governance processes Contribute to quality reports and contract review meetings Workforce development and training Develop and oversee clinical competency frameworks Lead competency assessments, training programmes, and ongoing professional development Support recruitment activities, including interviews and clinical assessments Mentor and coach clinicians to support career progression and service excellence Foster a positive culture of learning, engagement, and continuous improvement Education and innovation Deliver regular CPD sessions and educational programmes Promote reflective practice and evidence-based care Support the development of new services, including tinnitus, balance, and ear wax removal clinics Translate industry developments and best practice into operational improvements What we're looking for We're seeking an experienced Audiology professional with a passion for clinical excellence and service improvement.

Essential experience Significant post-qualification Audiology experience (5+ years) Proven experience providing clinical leadership within Audiology services Strong understanding of clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement processes Experience developing staff, conducting competency assessments, and supporting workforce development Knowledge of IQIPS accreditation requirements and quality frameworks Experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare environments Qualifications and registration Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Audiological Science (or equivalent) BAA/BSA Part 1 and Part 2 qualification (or equivalent) Registered with RCCP, HCPC, BAA, or another relevant professional body Evidence of ongoing CPD and professional development You'll be someone who Leads with credibility, confidence, and compassion Is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care Inspires and develops others Thinks strategically while remaining hands-on and clinically focused Enjoys driving change and continuous improvement Has excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Is comfortable travelling nationally to support services and teams Why join InHealth?
