Main duties of the job
You must be a registered nurse with a passion for teaching underpinned by consistent strong values and be able to influence change through persistence, diplomacy and vision.
Clinical facilitators are required to provide clinical expertise, advice and support in order to ensure a consistent, effective approach to patient care, as well as, supporting, promoting, facilitating and actively encouraging innovative practice.
An essential aspect is the ability to work autonomously, demonstrate organisational skills, be approachable, communicate effectively and provide constructive feedback.
Clinical facilitators are required to work effectively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team contributing to Corporate Practice Development projects associated with National and Trust wide priorities and objectives. Inter-professional team working across divisions to support colleagues within the team may be required.

1st Level Registration Experience within an acute trust within a medicine setting Completed or undertaking a first level degree in Nursing/ Health Studies Teaching qualification - accredited mentorship module/SSSA qualification Understanding of Quality Governance and its application Working knowledge of Trust and National Nursing initiatives Evidence of continuing professional development.
