The successful candidate will:
Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a proven track record of strong outcomes in Science Have secure subject knowledge, with a specialism in Chemistry and/or Physics Be able to teach across the full age and ability range, including Key Stage 4 Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging, and inclusive lessons Be committed to evidence-informed practice and continual professional development Contribute positively to a collaborative, high-performing department Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and improve student progress Have high expectations for all students, with a commitment to ensuring every learner succeeds Be organised, proactive, and able to manage workload effectively Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with colleagues, students, and families Share the school’s values and commitment to providing an excellent education for all students
