Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a track record of strong student outcomes in English Have a secure subject knowledge across English Language and Literature Be committed to delivering high-quality, engaging, and inclusive lessons Be keen to contribute to a high-performing team and share best practice Demonstrate a commitment to evidence-informed teaching and continuous professional development Have experience of using assessment effectively to inform teaching and improve progress Be highly organised, with strong planning and time-management skills Show a commitment to supporting all learners, including disadvantaged students and those with SEND Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues Share the school’s vision and values, with a commitment to achieving the very best for every student
