Job summary
We are a friendly and supportive team looking for a Practice Nurse to join us. You will be working alongside a well-established clinical team with the opportunity to develop and bring new ideas for the benefit of the Practice.
Our vacancy is for 2 or 3 days per week with some flexibility on days and times.
Main duties of the job
The role will include GPN duties with potential scope to develop further skills.
You should be an enthusiastic and motivated Practice Nurse with at least 1 years' experience of working in general practice.

About us
The New Surgery is a stable six-partner Practice supported by an excellent, dedicated team of nurses and admin /reception team. We also have additional clinical support from a Pharmacist, Physiotherapist, ANP and Mental Health Practitioner.
We are a GMS practice, with a list size of 11,000, based in a purpose-built medical centre in Chesham with ample free parking available on site.
We use EMIS, Docman10 and AccuRx.

You will be required to undertake general treatment room duties (eg childhood and adult immunisations, wound care, dressings, leg ulcer care, suture removal, cervical screening etc). You will also be our Infection Control lead.

Qualifications Essential
You will be a qualified Practice Nurse and hold a current PIN number.
Desirable
Qualified in cervical screening
Experience Essential
Experience of working in General Practice as a Practice Nurse
