Job summary

An exciting and rare opportunity - we are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and dedicated Band 6 Senior Forensic Nurse to join our Forensic Community Learning Disabilities Team (FCLDT).

Our service supports individuals with learning disabilities (LD) across Hampshire who present a significant risk of offending or have had contact with the criminal justice system. Our mission is to reduce reoffending, promote safer communities, and prevent unnecessary admissions to secure services or custody.

This is achieved through risk assessment, proactive management, treatment and education, working closely with partners including local LD services, police, probation, and other key agencies. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference while contributing to innovative, preventative forensic care.

The post also holds an additional Forensic Lead Payment of £1,400 PA

Across Hampshire, our community hospitals provide inpatient rehabilitation as a step down from acute care, and our dedicated teams also staff Treetops Sexual Assault Referral Centre in Portsmouth, offering expert, compassionate support.
