Reporting to the eRostering Senior Specialist, the post holder will provide routine day to day operational support, advice and guidance to end-users and first line telephone support for a variety of rostering related queries and requests such as roster creation, shifts, unavailability, roster related pay queries and maintaining roster accuracy.
Main duties of the job
Reporting to the eRostering Senior Specialist, the post holder will provide routine day to day operational support, advice and guidance to end-users and first line telephone support for a variety of rostering related queries and requests such as roster creation, shifts, unavailability, roster related pay queries and maintaining roster accuracy.
The post holder will be expected to deliver training to end users supporting roster compliance and best practice in all roster activity, supporting optimal staff deployment and delivering safe consistent care across the Trust. This will contribute to the overall effectiveness of planned rosters by offering system based advice on key actions and system functionality, referring to user guides, training manuals, policies and SOPs.
The role will include data entry tasks, data quality checks and data corrections as well as assisting the eRostering Team Manager and Senior Specialists to generate reports for key stakeholders to plan and share roster performance data to improve roster performance through use of evidence.
Support team colleagues in their training, coaching and outreach activity across the Trust to help improve the use of eRostering systems and achieve full benefits realisation.

Qualifications Essential
Good standard of general education, GCSE English and Maths or Equivalent
Desirable
Customer Service Digital Technology Business Administration
Knowledge and Experience Essential
Knowledge of rostering and purpose of eRostering systems Experience in digital systems customer service, providing advice, guidance, issue investigation and resolution
Desirable
Experience of supporting colleagues at all levels through change and supporting managers in delivering organisational change Allocate Optima (HealthRoster) system user experience Allocate Optima (HealthRoster) system administration experience
