About this role

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and proactive administrator for our Allergy Clinic.

We are looking for an organised, proactive professional with strong communication, leadership and IT skills, and experience in a busy administrative environment, for the role of Clinic Co-ordinator.

You will have a strong commitment to patient-centred care, with the ability to remain calm and professional in a complex multi-disciplinary environment. You will work closely with other administrative teams, clinicians and managers to ensure safe, efficient delivery of the Allergy Service to our patients.

Main duties of the job

- responsible for coordinating the Allergy service working closely with the clinical, administrative and management teams to prioritise high risk patients

- manage the new and follow up booking processes, and ensure that patients are booked in priority order

- produce performance reports and weekly Patient Tracking Lists using complex data, and present these to wide audiences including the Trust's Head of Elective Access, Operational Management and Clinicians

- line manage the allergy administrative booking and tracking teams

- provide cross cover as required for pathway tracking, outpatient procedure and day case booking duties at times of absence and high demand

Qualifications Essential

Educated to degree level or NVQ level 4 or equivalent Customer Service/ Business Admin /ITQ or equivalent professional experience

Experience Essential
