Job summary We are looking for a Ward Manager / Nurse Manager to join our team in Sittingbourne Memorial Hospital. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 8am-4pm. You will effectively lead a Community Hospital Nursing Team, taking responsibility for the management and professional accountability of the Team and its individual staff members and be responsible for the overall management of the inpatient wards ensuring the provision of holistic assessment, management, and evaluation of evidenced based nursing care to patients in the community hospital settings. Main Responsibilities: Provide skilled, effective, and evidenced based nursing care to patients with complex care needs within the inpatient community hospital settings. Manage the day to day, ongoing delivery, and development of the Service within remit ensuring delivery of a service that is responsive and high quality. Take responsibility for ensuring that patient experiences of the Service are positive.
