Job summary
ESNEFT provides a Community Stroke Rehabilitation Service delivered by Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists working in an Integrated Team across North East Essex (Colchester and Tendring).
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Assistant Practitioner to join the North East Essex Community Stroke Rehabilitation (Colchester & Tendring) Service for a fixed term covering maternity leave until 5th June 2027.
The role is full time - 37.5 hours per week, however, part time hours may be considered.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to develop and expand their skills and experience in a community/stroke setting.
It is preferable that you have experience of working in a rehabilitation setting. It is essential that you are a car driver with access to a vehicle for work as you will be expected to travel across the North East Essex area

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for providing needs-based/goal focused rehabilitation, supporting stroke survivors to become experts in their own care and to remain in their own homes by providing
delegated physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy interventions for this care group.
You will be encouraged and supported to develop your clinical skills and be actively involved in service development.

oEvidence of recent CPD oLevel 2 English and Maths - (equivalent to GCSE grade C or above). oKnowledge and skills acquired through a combination of formal, short courses, in house training and experience to NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent
