Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a part time Community Staff Nurse to join the Stowmarket Integrated Community Team. Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
The team is integrated, motivated and forward thinking consisting of Therapists, Social Workers, Nurses and Support Staff.
Our primary function is to provide health and social care to patients in their home environment promoting independence and avoiding hospital admission. We also run clinics at base such as Leg Ulcer, Falls, Line care.
The team work with 3 GP practices and there is a wealth of experience and knowledge within the current members of the team.
You would need to be motivated and committed to delivering high quality care.
There is an expectation you would use your own car for work.
Please note internal applicants will be offered on a secondment basis only.
Main duties of the job
Provision of nursing care eg woundcare, catheter care, leg ulcer care, palliative and end of life care, diabetic care
Supporting others to learn such as junior staff and students
Work with partner organisations to promote wellbeing and independence
Work effectively and autonomously within a supportive team
