The role
We are seeking an exceptional candidate for a new role we are introducing to St Richards, a Director of Clinical Services who can build from a solid base and help us realise our ambitions; someone who will inspire their teams and spearhead all our clinical services including medicine.
This is a rare opportunity to lead and develop high-quality, compassionate clinical services. The role has overall responsibility for leading, developing and line managing all clinicians, including medical staff, and for driving service design, innovation and continuous improvement to meet the evolving needs of patients, families and commissioners, ensuring alignment with St Richards mission and strategic intent.
As a key member of the Executive Team the post-holder will be responsible for shaping and delivering a people-first, values-driven strategy for all our clinical services. They will actively promote dignity and respect with excellent care and support for all those who use our services.
Main duties of the job
You will be:
A registered healthcare professional with current registration as: Nurse NMC, or Physiotherapist HCPC, or Occupational Therapist HCPC, or Pharmacist GPhC Extensive senior level clinical leadership experience, ideally within community, acute or specialist care settings. Proven experience of line managing diverse, multidisciplinary clinical teams. Demonstrable experience of leading service design, transformation, development and continuous improvement, including new models of care. Experienced and confident operating at executive and board level Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality assurance and improvement and regulatory frameworks, including CQC.
