Job summary
Dallam Lane Medical Centre is seeking to appoint a Salaried General Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive practice team for 2 sessions a week. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated GP to work within a patient-focused environment that values continuity of care and high-quality clinical practice.
We are ideally looking for a GP with experience of working within a very fast paced duty team although all suitable applicants will be considered.
Main duties of the job
Deliver a mix of routine and urgent GP consultations (face-to-face and telephone as clinically appropriate) Manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions Provide appropriate prescribing, investigations, and referrals Ensure safe and effective clinical decision-making and safety-netting Maintain accurate and timely clinical records Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team Participate in clinical meetings and practice development activities

Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to our patients
Conduct face to face, telephone, and online consultations.
Manage acute and chronic conditions in line with national and local guidelines
Participate in care planning and health promotion for patients with long term conditions
Issue prescriptions appropriately in accordance with practice and NHS policy
Review test results, hospital letters and correspondence promptly
Ensure accurate and timely clinical record keeping using System One clinical system

Qualifications Essential
GMC registered general practitioner Inclusion on the NHSE medical performers list To be considered for the position, you will have the following: Essential GMC registered general practitioner Inclusion on the NHS Performers List Good clinical and consultation skills Ability to manage a varied workload independently Commitment to high-quality, patient-focused care Good communication and teamwork skills
Desirable
Experience working in duty/urgent care clinics Previous experience in UK general practice Interest in developing clinical or service areas within the practice Familiarity with System One
Knowledge and skills Desirable
Basic IT Skills Worked on System one
