We are pleased to offer a range of Enhanced Clinical Practitioner opportunities across our Urgent Care Centres and Walk-In Centres in Central London. These roles are ideal for experienced clinicians who are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Positions are available at St. Charles Urgent Care Centre, Parsons Green Walk-In Centre, and Soho Walk-In Centre, with both full-time and part-time options available.
We welcome applications from Nurses Allied Health Professionals. In this role, you will work autonomously within the scope of the service to provide same day emergency care, supported by a practice educator and Advanced Clinical Practitioners. Main duties of the job
Provide autonomous, unscheduled care to patients presenting with acute undifferentiated conditions, drawing on expert clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills. Collaborate effectively with colleagues across Emergency Services, other healthcare professionals and statutory and voluntary agencies. Contribute to defining and maintaining high standards of care and practice, helping to improve service quality. Support senior staff in the operational management and ongoing development of the service. Take on shift coordinator responsibilities on a rotational basis, demonstrating leadership in managing day-to-day service operations. Achieve and maintain competencies in both adult and paediatric care through structured learning with our Practice Educator. Communicate complex and sensitive information clearly and compassionately to patients, carers, and colleagues. Deliver care within a culturally sensitive and inclusive framework. Participate in implementing, conducting and evaluating service audits to support continuous improvement If you are new to paediatrics, we will support your development through a structured, competency-based programme overseen by our Practice Educator and Clinical Leads, helping you build the knowledge and confidence needed for the role.

Education/Qualification Essential
Registered Nurse or AHP with current NMC/HCPC registration Level 7 Advanced Clinical Assessment Module Minor Illness Experience and/or minor injury L6/7
Desirable
Independent Prescriber (or on pathway to complete)
Experience Essential
Experience in autonomous working and diagnostics Substantial experience in patient care Experience in working autonomously in an emergency or other unscheduled care environment or working autonomously within a GP surgery. Experience of clinical supervision Experience of implementing evidence-based care

Experience of team / service/ staff management. Experience of conducting research projects and audit Experience of change management and implementing change in practice
