About this role

Job summary

To provide Business Management support to the Specialist CYP ND Service and deputise for the Team Manager in their absence with regard to agreed tasks.

The post holder will provide efficient and accurate Business Transformation Management to CYP ND and external stakeholders

To provide support towards the effective transformation and delivery of of CYP ND services including associated targets.

To lead on key projects in the transformation of CYP ND

Become an active member of the CAMHS Senior Leadership Team and wider Transformation team.

The post holder will be required to have excellent communication and organisational skills, along with a relevant Business Qualification or the willingness to work towards one.

Main duties of the job

Responsible for working to set up and support delivery of the CYP ND targets for the service

Support analysis, implementation and monitoring of CYP ND processes

Responsible for monitoring of access/referral targets and reporting breaches and supporting any remedial plans that may be necessary

To work with the service lead in the process of incoming referrals and ensuring the process is refined as required

Ensure the patient pathway is clear and followed and monitor where pathway efficiencies can be made

To support the Service lead in the co-ordination of utilities/estates (with Senior site admin), equipment (laptops) and services and be responsible for the progression and ideas of solutions to issues when reported or remain actively involved and leading service improvement/development and transformation

Actively support and lead improvement plans/projects

Offer ideas and research initiatives and ideas to further improve service

About us

This role is in a new service and the post holder will need to be resilient, and comfortable and confident with change and uncertainty, In return you can expect strong support from your line manager and those you work with and an exciting opportunity to make a real change to the lives of children and their families/carers.

No two days will be the same and you will be expected to be mobile and work across the teams where ND is delivered. Trust will be placed in you to manage your workload and hours

Person Specification

Qualification Essential

Degree level of education or equivalent experience Evidence of continued learning (CPD) and in ND

Desirable

Have or be working towards a masters, degree or post graduate diploma in a subject relevant to this post operational scope

Communication skills/Information resources Essential

Excellent verbal communication skills - with ability to influence and negotiate Ability to provide clear information to clients and staff Evidence of ability to set up and maintain protocols and procedures Some experience of addressing queries and dealing with a wide variety of people

Knowledge, training and Experience Essential

Project management skills Able to analyse and interpret complex data with a problem-solving attitude Strong focus of delivery with a proven track record of delivery in a business focused environment Knowledge and to have previously worked in ND in order to immediately take on the role

Desirable

System One experience NHS experience

Planning and organisational skills Essential

Evidence of office management and organisational skills Ability to manage time and priorities to enable the post holder and others to achieve plans in a timely and organised manner Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment Planning management of service changes/redesign
