Job summary
We are looking for a Ward Clerk to join our multi-disciplinary team Ceredig Ward in Bronglais General Hospital, Aberystwyth
You must have excellent communication skills and work well in a team. You will need to be able to work calmly and efficiently within a busy environment, whilst remaining focused on providing a person-centred approach to care.
Main duties of the job The Ward Clerk will provide administrative support to Ceredig Ward . A strong sense of teamwork and commitment to maintaining high standards is essential. The role requires someone who enjoys working as part of a team, as well as under their own initiative. We are looking for someone who is motivated with good attention to detail, to help support the ward staff with a wide range of administrative tasks. Duties will involve updating hospital computer systems, handling medical records and answering the telephones. Full training will be provided. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
