A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK Full time contract of 36 hours per week, includes alternate weekends Bank contracts also available A day in the life of a Care Assistant Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement Personal care - supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care. Medication -Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams. Meals Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages. Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks. Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility. Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
Main duties of the job As a Care Assistant at Agincare, you will be part of a team providing a safe and homely environment within St Peters Park Retirement Village. This vibrant community is centrally located in Bexhill, near essential amenities and the beautiful seafront. Your role will include providing companionship, personal care, administering medications, assisting with meals, and supporting clients with mobility and social activities.
