Exciting Opportunity: Band 6 Dietitian - Nutrition Support & Home Enteral Feeding
Are you a passionate dietitian looking to make a real difference in your community? We are seeking a self-motivated Band 6 Dietitian to join our dynamic team, focusing on Nutrition Support and Home Enteral Tube Feeding. You will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care across a diverse population.
Our supportive, innovative team spans Hammersmith & Fulham, Westminster, and Kensington & Chelsea, meeting monthly in person and weeklyvirtuallyforteam building andcollaboration. We are committed toevidence-based practice, inclusivity and wellbeingfor both patients and staff.

Main duties of the job
Provide person-centred dietetic care for individuals at risk of malnutrition or requiringenteral feeding acrosshomevisits,carehomesand clinics. Support people with malnutrition through food-based interventions andappropriate oralnutritional supplementation, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs), service users, families, carers, and care agencies. Organise and manage your own caseload, including administrative duties, referralsand liaison with other services. Deliver education and training sessions for internal and external stakeholders. Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and service innovation.

Education/Qualification Essential
Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics Health Care Professions Council Registration
Desirable
Member of the British Dietetic Association Member of a relevant Specialist Group
Experience Essential
Experience in a range of clinical areas including enteral feeding, nutrition support, food fortification, the appropriate prescribing of oral nutrition supplements Experience of enteral feeding troubleshooting including tube aftercare tasks, unblocking tubes and stoma site review Experience in the training of student dietitians Experience in conducting audits, QI and/or research Experience in using behaviour change techniques
Desirable
Experience of working in a community dietetic team
Skills & Knowledge Essential
Ability to apply core Dietetic skills across a range of clinical conditions including the assessment and treatment of patients with nutrition related disease Ability to communicate complex medical and Dietetic information in sensitive and easily understandable language Have knowledge of national policies and guidelines in Nutrition Support and Enteral Feeding
