Learning and Development (L&D) Lead | Permanent, Full-time (40 hours)

We are looking for an ambitious and people-focused Learning & Development professional to act as the architect of our learning strategy designing, delivering, and continuously improving a company-wide approach to learning and development that strengthens capability, improves employee engagement, supports retention, and uses data-led insights to measure impact across the employee lifecycle.
Based on-site at our Central Support Centre in LS21 1PY, this position requires national travel to our sites across UK. You will play a key role in shaping learning initiatives across our organisation.
Main duties of the job
This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to shape and influence learning, leadership development, onboarding, engagement, and organisational capability across OneMedical Group.
You will partner with leaders and subject matter experts to identify development opportunities, implement modern and scalable learning solutions, and help foster a culture of continuous improvement and growth.
We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable thinking strategically and delivering operationally a hands-on L&D professional who enjoys building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and creating meaningful learning experiences.
Working Arrangements
Full-time (40 hours per week).Office-based at our Leeds office, with regular travel to our sites, including overnight stays if required.Important Information:

Proven experience delivering engaging training and development programmesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProven experience developing and implementing HR and L&D policies, procedures, and processesExperience in identifying training needs and designing learning solutions aligned to organisational prioritiesExperience evaluating the impact of learning interventions and using data or insights to inform improvementsA good understanding of employment legislation and compliance standardsStrong organisational and time management skillsCIPD Level 5 or equivalent demonstrable experienceFlexibility to travel to our sites in the UKA full UK driving licence, and access to your own vehicle.

Person Specification
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Essential
Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities. In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and compliance standards. Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Smartsheets. Flexibility for national travel to all OneMedical Group sites. Valid full driving license and own transport required.
Experience Essential
Proven experience delivering engaging training and professional development. Proven experience in writing and introducing policies and procedures.
Qualifications Essential
Educated to degree level in L&D, HR, or equivalent relevant experience. CIPD qualified to Level 5 or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
