Job summary
An exciting opportunity has become available within the Northamptonshire Division of EMAS. The Associate Divisional Clinical Leader role will be key in delivering patient care with a key focus on clinical excellence and quality.
These roles are permanent positions working alongside the DSCL team. 1x Wellingborough & 1x Daventry/Towcester/Brackley Ambulance Stations. You must be a qualified Paramedic and have been signed off post NQP period.
Main duties of the job
The ADCL roles will be allocated to defined areas and groups of stations, working closely with the Divisional Senior Clinical Lead (DSCL) and Station Managers (SM) to deliver the clinical and quality metrics and outcomes. The ADCL will support the delivery of the clinical elements of the appraisal for clinical staff.
About us
Reporting and accountable to the Divisional Senior Clinical Leader (DSCL) for the area, the Associate Divisional Clinical Leader (ADCL) is responsible for supporting the delivery of clinical development, support, supervision and leadership of a team of operational staff. This includes staff in a preceptorship period, university entrants and staff requiring additional support and / or supervision as directed by the DSCL.

The ADCL will also act as a reactive leader supporting, supervising and signposting (e.g. to SM etc.) staff groups on an on shift basis. This will be overseen by both their direct DSCL and the duty DSCL for the division on a given day.

Qualifications Essential
Full driving licence including the provision of emergency driving Current clinical registration Paramedic Practice educator or mentorship qualification Evidence of ongoing CPD history
Desirable
Teaching qualification (e.g. AET or PTLLS) or willingness to undertake Assessment qualification e.g. CAVA or equivalent (in place or currently studying for)
Skills Essential
Ability to plan and organise a range of complex activities

Ability to think creatively and display an innovative approach to identifying and implementing solutions to further enhance the delivery of operational services
