About the Role
Our client is a growing ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) therapy provider in the United States. They are seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Documentation Compliance Specialist to support their remote team.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely submission and verification of session notes completed by Registered Behaviour Technicians (RBTs). This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, is confident in follow-ups, and understands the importance of healthcare documentation compliance.
PLEASE NOTE:
Working Hours: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM South African time, subject to daylight savings)Public Holidays: Required to work on both South African and U.S. public holidays (SA public holidays compensated in accordance with the BCEA)Internet Requirements: Fixed fibre line (minimum 25 Mbps upload & download) with wired Ethernet capability — LTE/5G/Rain not acceptedPower Backup: Reliable backup solution required (UPS, inverter, solar, etc.)Work Environment: Fully remote

Key Responsibilities
Monitor daily reports on the Rethink platform to identify unsubmitted or unverified session notesConduct structured follow-ups with RBTs via email, phone, or textEnsure documentation meets internal compliance and quality standardsEscalate recurring or unresolved submission issues when necessaryMaintain accurate compliance logs and tracking recordsBuild professional and supportive working relationships with field staff
Requirements
Previous experience in U.S. healthcare administration, documentation, or complianceStrong written and verbal English communication skillsExcellent organizational and time-management abilitiesAbility to manage high volumes of daily follow-upsProfessional, confident, and respectful communication styleAbility to work independently in a remote environment
Advantageous
Experience within ABA therapy or familiarity with RBT rolesExperience in healthcare documentation compliance or quality assuranceExperience working with electronic health record systems (Rethink experience beneficial)
