About The Client
The client is a faith-based podcast exploring the intersection of scripture, Christian faith and artificial intelligence. The show makes the case that AI can augment rather than undermine belief, and has built a positive, engaged following in its first six weeks on YouTube and Facebook. The host records episodes (5–8 minutes) using an AI avatar created in HeyGen, and is now ready to expand reach across additional platforms.
Role Overview
We're looking for a proactive Social Media & Content Coordinator to expand the podcast's distribution and grow its audience. This is primarily a strategy, scheduling, and repurposing role — turning existing long-form episodes into platform-ready content and maintaining a consistent posting cadence across multiple channels. Light video editing and content/format suggestions are a bonus but not the primary focus.
Key Responsibilities
Content Repurposing & Distribution
• Repurpose existing 5–8 minute YouTube/Facebook episodes into short-form clips (Reels, Shorts, TikToks)
• Upload and schedule episode content to TikTok and Instagram
• Convert podcast audio/text content for distribution on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Audible
• Maintain a consistent posting schedule and content calendar across all platforms
Strategy & Growth
• Recommend platform-specific strategies to grow subscribers and followers
• Identify which platforms best suit different content types (e.g. short-form vs. long-form)
• Monitor engagement and follower growth, providing regular performance summaries
• Suggest improvements to content format, pacing, or presentation style
Light Editing & Content Support (Bonus)
• Basic video editing/clean-up of AI-avatar-generated episodes (HeyGen output)
• Light graphic design for thumbnails, cover art, or promotional posts
• Suggestions on improving the AI avatar presentation or overall production quality
Requirements
• Proven experience managing social media accounts and content calendars across multiple platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube)
• Experience repurposing long-form video into short-form content (Reels/Shorts/TikToks)
• Familiarity with podcast distribution platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Audible)
• Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices and content trends
• Excellent written English communication skills
• Self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight
• Comfortable working with a client who is new to content creation and open to guidance
Nice to Have
• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, Premiere Rush, or similar)
• Graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop)
• Experience with AI avatar tools such as HeyGen
• Interest or background in faith-based, Christian, or values-driven content
Tools & Platforms
YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Spotify for Podcasters, Apple Podcasts Connect, Audible, HeyGen, and a content scheduling/calendar tool (e.g. Later, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite).
Client Context
The client is a US-based individual (Florida) who self-funds and produces the podcast independently. He has a limited budget and is looking for a candidate who can largely run distribution and strategy with minimal hand-holding, while remaining open to feedback and recommendations on improving content quality.
