Job SummaryYou will serve as a SUPERVISORY PLANS AND PROGRAMS OFFICER in the CG of MARINE FORCES PACIFIC.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing the execution, planning, and assessment of operational and strategic objectives AND providing insight, expertise, and recommendations for action to senior executive leadership on naval integration, amphibious operations, and joint operations. Major DutiesYou will ensure that Marine Corps units are equipped, trained, and prepared to execute their missions in support of naval and joint objectives.You will serve as a key advisor to the Commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (COMMARFORPAC), providing recommendations on the employment of Marine Corps forces in maritime and amphibious operations.You will develop plans and provide logistics and administrative support to subordinate forces/personnel.You will determine budget status and track compliance with higher headquarters (HHQ) policies and directives.You will directly supervise five general and special staff assistants at a major command headquarters, i.e., 1 O-4, 1 GS-14, and 3 GS-13s.You will translate Sub-Unified Command intent into policies and orders.You will track personnel, equipment, and logistics readiness status.
