Job SummaryYou will serve as a DEPUTY MANPOWER MANAGER in the REGIONAL MANPOWER OFFICE of MARINE CORPS BASE.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, developing, or overseeing manpower management programs; advising leadership on manpower functions and providing policy guidance; developing and/or implementing manpower related policies; analyzing operational challenges arising from new initiatives and developing strategic solutions to ensure successful implementation. Major DutiesYou will monitor and analyze trends and anticipate developments to initiate action to fulfill recognized requirements with new techniques or procedures.You will prepare, review, and edit sub-regional manpower directives, implement MCIEAST and AC/S G-1 policies, and recommend new policies for Commanding General signatureYou will exercise staff oversight over manpower matters regarding Installation Personnel Administrative Centers (IPACs), Manpower Information Systems Support, Military Postal Activities, and Civilian Human ResourcesYou will assist in planning, programming, setting policies, and prioritizing requirements and resources for the Manpower Management ProgramYou will monitor the satisfactory staffing of active duty military officers, enlisted, other service officers and, when requested, Fleet Assistance officers and enlisted personnel and civilians.
