Job SummaryYou will serve as a TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST (LEASED EQUIPMENT) in the Maintenance Office of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)managing and coordinating complex Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE) and leased-equipment programs across multiple customer activities; 2)conducting detailed transportation analyses such as cost studies, utilization reviews, and equipment-requirement justifications; and applying a working knowledge of DoD, NAVFAC, and federal transportation regulations to real-world operational decisions. 3)Experience liaising with senior military and civilian personnel, overseeing contracted equipment and validating billing accuracy, and maintaining accurate transportation records and databases. Major DutiesYou will serve as a point of contact for coordination of all Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE) for the Rental Lease Office.You will analyze and manage all rental/lease operations for Class B and C transportation equipment.You will prepare the annual allowance and requirements reports.You will maintain the records of vehicle assignments and assign all rental equipment.You will coordinate the Rental Lease Operations within NAVFAC MIDLANT and serviced activities in the Hampton Roads area.
