QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 pay band (GS-12/13 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer advising and providing recommendations on software development, requirements development, developing system architectures, directing the configuration management of software source code, and performing software system health assessments. Major DutiesYou will serve as the lead engineering and technical authority, supporting the division head by providing expert oversight across all technical capabilities.You will advise and mentor division personnel, and provide authoritative recommendations to the Division Head on employee assignments and technical performance.You will be accountable for the proper execution of all technical tasks, ensuring that the work performed aligns with the requirements and standards set by Program Offices, the department Chief Engineer, customers, and the fleet.You will lead the design and implementation of all primary systems.You will guide and document the DEVSECOPS and Agile approaches for all engineering projects, from design and testing through to deployment.You will oversee requirements analysis, develop system architectures, and direct the configuration management of software source code and its associated documentation.You will provide technical leadership in solving complex engineering problems, especially those involving state-of-the-art equipment and the integration of COTS software and hardware.You will approve critical design choices and interface with Product Owners and Technical Program Managers to ensure the successful integration of system components.
