QualificationsYour resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing professional engineering and scientific work; performing systems engineering, preparing and overseeing budgets, and planning contractual acquisitions of engineering services. Major DutiesYou will analyze reliability and failures to determine the need for repair capabilities and facilities, and hardware and software modifications to maintain life cycle supportability requirements and ensure logistic support.You will manage inspections and technical evaluations to identify technical deficiencies and degradation of installed hardware.You will direct design and development of hardware and software faulting techniques to support operational and maintenance training.You will support the sustaining engineering, repair and return, laboratory maintenance and field engineering budget formulation for the life cycle of SWS/AWS/UK trainers.You will coordinate and directs the fiscal resources for trainer development and develop budget packages to present and defend at budget reviews with Board of Directors (BoD).You will plan and direct contractual acquisition of sustaining engineering and field engineering services for the support and maintenance of SWS/AWS/UK trainers.You will prepare statement of work, procurement requests and task statements.You will atively participate in proposal evaluation, fact-finding and other contract negotiations in coordination with the contracting officer representative (COR) and contracting officer.
