Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing clerical and assistant task in support of established programs to include entering personnel data into an automated system and maintaining files. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
Major DutiesCoordinate access and control of visitors, vendors, and other personnel granted access to the project.Operate a secure workstation on a secure network for the purpose of issuing access control devices, such as cards or keys.Responsible for the site administration of the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) and Real-time Automated Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS) to ensure it is operated within compliance of policies and procedures.Provide administrative support to the personnel, physical, and industrial security programs.
