About this role
Receive, identify, store, distribute, inventory, pick, pack, and ship materials, supplies, components and equipment in the most efficient manner.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in Shipping or Receiving when needed. • Read appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed or shipped. • Move items to appropriate areas. • Record amounts of materials or items moved into computer database. • Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts. • Assist with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed, writing shortage lists and distributing them as required. • Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly and safe manner. • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures. • Maintain a clean & organized work area, utilize safe work habits. • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
• Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Basic computer knowledge required. • 1 year of warehouse experience preferred. • Forklift operating experience preferred.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to pass a drug screen & background check. • Ability to work overtime as required & work an on-call rotating schedule. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and procedures. • Ability to multitask in fast paced environment. • Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties. • Factory environment with large range in temperature changes. • Ability to stand, walk, bend/stoop, push/pull and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
