JOB DESCRIPTION
• To coordinate and assist in preparing and improving Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment (RA), Safe Operating Procedure (SOP) and Job Hazard Analysis at work areas. • To ensure the HSE Risk Register is monitored and well updated. • To conduct daily Safety & Health, Environmental Inspection, submit the report of findings and follow up action to be taken. • To coordinate and maintain Safety and Health, Environmental Data Administrations. Data Entry, collection, collation and safekeeping all HSE documents. • To assist and conducting Investigation including preparing full report on all occurrences in any incident or accident which related to HSE. • To assist the implementation of the NOV EPS HSE Procedures, NOV Best Management Practices (BMPs), HSE workplace improvement programs, ISO 45K and ISO 14K Certification. • Coordinate internal / external HSE Inspection, Audits and follow up actions on the results. • To assist in coordinating / delivering any HSE training programs, activities or promotions at workplace. • To assist in coordinating any issue with local Authorities or Government Agencies: D.O.S.H, D.O.E, Ministry Health, Fire & Rescue Dept, Police Department and OTHERS. • To assist in checking and monitoring all Certified Machineries, Fire Safety Systems and other equipment for the purposed of maintaining safe work practices and conditions in plants. • To conduct routine checking and enforcement related to HSE requirements in compliance with • Company’s Policy and Procedures to all level of employees, internal and external Contractors, Vendors and Visitors. • To assist in monitoring unsafe acts and unsafe conditions, near hit report at workplaces, corrective and preventive actions taken. • Managing eSWIS system for reporting to DOE as per statutory requirements and other Environmental Compliances as stated in the Local Acts and Regulations • Promoting safety culture and mitigating potential risk and hazard in operation. • To participate and assist in coordinating 5S activities under HSE and at workplaces. • Any other duties and responsibilities as required by Management.
JOB REQUIREMENT
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health or engineering science from any professional body of institution with minimum of 2 years’ experience. • Candidate with HSE Coordinator Certificate from NIOSH or other recognized and certified Institutions. • Can work independently and enforce compliance of regulatory requirement. • Possess positive attitude, discipline, good interpersonal skills and systematic. • Experience in Manufacturing environment, knowledge in ISO 140001 / ISO 45001 • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team. • Able to plan, organise, evaluate and lead activity schedules and direct the work of others. • Exhibit a good attitude and demonstrates interpersonal skills to work with people from different backgrounds. • Competent Person (CP) for the following competency is preferred and advantage:
a. CePSWaM- Certified Environmental Professionals in Scheduled Waste Management.
b. CePBFO - Certified Environmental Professionals in Bag Filter Operation
c. CePSTPO - Certified Environmental Professionals in Sewage Treatment Plant Operation.
