About this role

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generate sales revenue to meet or exceed assigned sales projections by giving interactive sales visits to customer locations. • Maintain contact with an established customer base; identify and establish new clients. • Communicate and strategize with the sales team on all related client issues. • Prepare and deliver bids for customers with a follow up report to sales manager. • Work in conjunction with operations personnel to ensure above expected customer services are achieved. • Work with technical support and customers to ensure completeness and accuracy of information. • Evaluate market requirements and competitor capabilities. • Assist in credit worthiness assessments and collection of all delinquent accounts. • Attend functions when necessary to keep in contact with customer. • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned. • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent • 2-4 years of work or college relating to sales and marketing • Basic knowledge of mechanic is a plus • Ability to travel up to 50-75% • Experience in Sales, or Mechanical is highly preferred

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must have good verbal and written communication skills in order to interface with both internal and external customers. • Ability to work with the team • Possess computer skills and MS Office experience. • Have a current and valid driver’s license. • Must be able to travel within their assigned region. • Knowledge of Oil and Gas land drilling operations. • Knowledge of NOV products an asset • Be on call 24/7. • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Must have basic mechanical understanding.
