About this role
Plans and implements an Extended School Year program that includes instruction in communication, life, and social skills; works at Key Center with students that are severely or profoundly delayed cognitively, some of which have fragile medical conditions and require private nursing; provides significant instructional adaptations and personal assistance with daily life activities and simple tasks; utilizes best practices in teaching to achieve student?s IEP goals; manages student behavior; follows pre-designed lessons, activities, and maintains appropriate pacing; orders, receives, and distributes supplies; participates in Summer Collaborative Team meetings; collaborates with administrators, central office staff, teachers, and paraprofessionals; assists with routine care, including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting; maintains accurate and complete records as required by law, regulation, and policy.
