E-Coat Technician Starting at $31.18/Hour + Pension + Benefits About the E-Coat Technician Role Metalsa is seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious E-Coat Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support the operation and maintenance of our electro-coating and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring process control, product quality, and environmental compliance. If you have experience with chemical processes, industrial equipment, or wastewater systems and enjoy troubleshooting and problem-solving, we encourage you to apply. What Your Day Will Look Like
• Maintain process control and support daily line operations • Perform titrations and make chemical adjustments as needed • Monitor and maintain tank levels and chemistry • Change bag filters and flush ultra-filters • Conduct tank dumps, clean-outs, and chemical additions • Run test panels and parts for quality analysis • Monitor process conditions, including temperature and chemistry levels • Complete daily equipment and laboratory inspections • Assist with troubleshooting process and equipment issues • Operate forklifts to safely transport chemicals and materials • Track department KPIs and maintain required reports and display boards • Monitor and report issues within e-coat and wastewater systems • Maintain chemical inventories and supplies • Support wastewater treatment operations when assigned • Perform preventative maintenance activities, including oven cleanings • Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation • Perform other duties as assigned What You'll Need
• High school diploma or GED • Minimum of two years of verifiable experience in one or more of the following: • E-coat, electroplating, or similar coating systems • Industrial or wastewater treatment operations • Basic laboratory testing and procedures
• Basic computer skills • Experience handling and working with chemicals safely • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces • Ability to perform cleaning and housekeeping duties to support quality and safety standards Preferred Qualifications
• Degree, certification, or coursework related to the chemical industry • Knowledge of PLCs, motors, pumps, or industrial control systems What's In It For You?
