T3 – Senior MFT Systems Engineer (SFG) Summary Owns MFT platform operations, integration, and advanced troubleshooting across systems. Key Responsibilities Own MFT platform (SFG, Connect:Direct) Lead advanced troubleshooting (JVM, OS, infra, integration) Perform deep root cause analysis Design and optimize workflows Integrate with APIs, cloud, and enterprise systems Lead deployments, upgrades, and enhancements Ensure security and compliance Mentor junior engineers Skills & Experience 5–8 years of experience in MFT / integration engineering Deep expertise in: Sterling File Gateway, Connect:Direct File transfer protocols (SFTP, AS2, FTPS) Strong knowledge of: Linux/AIX performance (CPU, memory, I/O) JVM tuning (heap, GC) Experience with: Advanced troubleshooting and RCA API integrations (REST/SOAP) Cloud integrations (AWS S3, Azure Blob) Strong understanding of: Security (PKI, SSL/TLS, encryption frameworks) Experience with: Deployment, patching, and platform upgrades Monitoring tools and performance tuning Ability to work independently and guide junior team members
