General Atomics Survivability group has an exciting position available for an IR Designer and Analyst to support Infrared (IR) analysis and design support across a variety of platforms. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Significant experience in modeling and analyzing IR signature and design optimization. Assist in design development and iteration with other functional IPT stakeholders to meet LO requirements. Support the development and validation of IR test methodology. Will require the identification of acceptable measurement tools and development of processes. Perform IR analysis using industry standard tools Generate performance assessments, risk identification and mitigation recommendations for GA developed designs. Familiarity with state of the art materials. Provide program planning and technical leadership to IRAD and CRAD projects targeting development and implementation of Survivability technologies. Ensure compliance, reporting, and safety standards are maintained. Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
