Salary Range: Grade F - Between FTE £34,409 - £42,409 / Actual £26,353 - £32,332 + SEN Allowance
Location: High Point Academy, Friar Park Rd, Wednesbury, WS10 0JS
Contract: Full time, Permanent, Term-Time Only (Part time applicants will be considered for suitable applicants)

The High Point Academy opened in September 2021, and we aim for all our pupils to be "ACE" we have ambitious aspirations for all our learners, we wish to challenge the impossible and encourage independence for all.
We educate up to 112 pupils aged 11-16 years with autism and moderate learning difficulties. High Point is part of Forward Education Trust.
The successful candidate will
Have previous experience and skills in working with children with SEND
Have experience of working with children with Autism
Have experience of teaching/delivering interventions to support pupils academic and/or SEND needs.
Providing support to pupils across the school, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
Supervise groups and occasionally whole classes.
Provide a high standard of nurturing and education, through quality interactions and by developing strong, authentic relationships with all children and on a one-to-one basis if required.
Be proactive, flexible and a reliable team player, offering support to colleagues.
Build and maintain strong relationships that enable all children to flourish and ensure our community' needs are at the forefront of all we do.
Support children to make progress through working closely with a supportive and experienced team, as well as external professionals.
Provide regular feedback to the class teacher, SLT and colleagues regarding children’s progress and general wellbeing.
Have a HLTA qualification or NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistant with experience of working at HLTA level
