Salary – Scale F, £15.06 - £16.07 per hour Permanent Part Time 15 hours per week (days to be agreed at interview) Term Time plus 1 week Required from September 2026
We are seeking a passionate, adaptable and highly organised Assistant SENDCo to support the leadership of SEND across the school. The Assistant SENDCo is not solely an administration post but a specialist coordination role. You will be the bridge between our families, our staff, and external agencies. By managing the complex statutory requirements of SEND, you ensure that our teachers have the information they need to be successful and that our parents feel heard and supported.
We are looking for an Assistant SENDCo who:
Has experience of working with children with SEND Who has good communication skills Can support teachers with strategies and pupil information Has the ability to build strong and positive relationships with colleagues and families Has resilience and the moral drive to support from disadvantaged backgrounds Has an enthusiasm and willingness to take part in the broader life of the school Enjoys being part of a happy, hard working and fun team.
