Hours: Part time, 25 per week,Monday to Friday.

We are seeking a dedicated team member to coordinate patient facility services within the children's department, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. Key responsibilities include delivering cleaning, catering, and ancillary services for patients, monitoring quality standards, and reporting deficiencies and necessary actions to the Senior Nurse. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the team, performing tasks as directed by the Nurse in Charge.

Main duties of the job
Experience in care is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. You must have strong organisation, IT and time management skills and be able to be innovative with a zest for new challenges as the demands of the unit grows

The role involves ensuring high cleaning standards on the ward, including maintaining cleaning logs and cleaning various equipment and areas as per policy. It also includes assisting patients during mealtimes, preparing snacks, and ensuring food safety.
The candidate will monitor service delivery, report deficiencies, and ensure the cleanliness and organization of various ward areas. Additionally, the role requires welcoming visitors, transporting equipment, escorting patients, and maintaining effective communication while adhering to confidentiality and health and safety policies. The candidate will ensure patients have adequate supplies and the ward is well-stocked to meet patient and staff needs.
