About this role

Job summary

The Team Administrator will provide a comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to the Quality, Safety and Education Team ensuring that effective and efficient clinical governance and quality and safety processes are developed and maintained. The role involves administrative and clerical support and event management. The post-holder will be self-directed, tenacious and able to work as a key member of the team with a flexible approach.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

To provide comprehensive and confidential administrative support to the Quality, Safety and Education team.

To provide a wide ranging administrative and clerical support for the varied functions of the Team, which includes Quality, Safety and Education, Clinical Governance and Professional Practice Development Team.

To support the Professional Practice Development Team to deliver courses and events.

To support the implementation of policy and guidance over a number of key areas of activity.

There will be a requirement to plan and organise a range of complex activities, with the ability to work unsupervised on some project areas.

Undertake continual detailed information analysis from a range of sources. Providing update/feedback reports.

The post holder will be required to manage and co-ordinate several activities simultaneously and demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail and autonomy.

This post is fixed term/secondment for 6 months due to - meet the needs of the service.

Person Specification

Knowledge/Experience Essential

Knowledge of secretarial procedures RSA/OCR III qualification Computer literate & experienced in the use of spreadsheet and database software packages.

Desirable

Experience of accurate data collection Experience in generating reports and extracting information from databases

Other Essential

Experience of working in an office in an administrative/secretarial role.
