We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced occupational therapist to join the award-winning Rough Sleepers Mental Health Team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the delivery of a variety of specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and mental health interventions. The overall purpose of the post holder is to ensure that individuals who are referred into the service have their occupational needs assessed and interventions/recommendations are identified to meet these needs and that these are incorporated into an overall formulation of need and appropriate plan of care. The post holder will also be expected to be available for consultation, support and participation within wider MDTs to advise and support our RESET partners.
Main duties of the job
Delivering a high-quality clinical service to patients, their families and RESET partners. The post holder will be responsible for providing the occupational therapy process within RESET service, helping to inform support services and the rough sleeper team. Working in the Rough Sleeper mental health team and RESET service. Managing a complex caseload including key working and responsible for clinical and caseload supervision of other team members where identified. Delivering occupational therapy assessment and interventions, in accordance with an agreed care plan, to an identified group of people experiencing complex mental health related difficulties, substance misuse and homelessness.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Degree in occupational therapy or equivalent Post qualification courses in occupational therapy
Desirable
Evidence of further clinical study Evidence of study or training in areas including substance misuse or marginalised groups.
Experience Essential
Relevant experience to the role including knowledge and management of long term conditions Working in a multidisciplinary team Ability to manage time and workload effectively
Desirable
Experience of working with adults with complex mental health and substance needs Experience with working with homeless indivduals or the services that support them
