Main duties of the job
You should be a motivated, dynamic and caring registered practitioner who is able to demonstrate a high standard of clinical practice. You must possess excellent communication and team working qualities, with a willingness to learn new skills. You should also thrive on working in a busy environment and be forward thinking and passionate about delivering a high standard of care.
You will actively engage with the unit's multidisciplinary approach to care, ensuring that patients, parents, carers, and families are fully involved in their care journey. This aligns with the Trust's patient and public involvement strategy, which prioritises collaborative and holistic care.
Providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages and backgrounds, addressing both acute medical needs and long-term health management.

It means you don't have to wait until the end of the month for your bank shift pay, giving you more flexibility.
Don't worry - the remaining portion of your pay is set aside to make sure your tax contributions are paid in full and if your tax contributions amount to less than the money set aside you'll receive it all back at the end of each month.

You will be welcomed by our substantive team and would be offered supernumerary shifts to orientate you to the wards prior to being counted in the nurse staffing numbers.
Shifts will be sent to the bank and available for booking periodically but also on a last minute basis.

Qualifications Essential
RSCN/RN Registration
Experience Essential
Have recent experience in a relevant clinical setting.
Desirable
Evidence of supervisory and mentoring skills Able to lead and work within a team
Additional Criteria Essential
Maintain clinical competences as outlined in appendix A Effective communication and interpersonal skills
