職務の目的
• 割り当てられたエリアにおける家族歴史部の施策・活動・業務全般について、支援および運営を主導する • 「『あらゆる人々が、過去, 現在, 未来の家族を見いだし、集め、つなげる』という喜びをもたらす霊感に満ちた旅路を可能にする」という家族歴史部の目的の達成に努める • 管理職として他の職員を監督する。必要に応じてボランティア等、職員以外の人員を含むチームも監督する Purpose

• 地域会長会との主な連絡窓口を担い、アジア北地域におけるFamilySearch関連業務全般を統括する • 神殿儀式に必要な名前を十分に提供するため、系図情報を含む記録や資料の特定・取得・撮影を実施する • 地域の状況に即した取り組みを通して、部門の業務目標の達成に貢献する • 系図記録の特定、交渉、取得、公開に関わる業務を管理する • 記録を保有する機関、その他団体との関係を構築し、発展させる • 政府機関、記録保有機関、各種団体との関係において、家族歴史部および教会を代表し、公共・民間 • 非営利・商業分野にわたる関係構築と連携を進める • 記録を取得・撮影し、FamilySearch.org上で利用できるようにするための機会を開拓する • 関連する教会内のチームおよび外部関係者と、定期的かつ密接に連携する • アジア北地域において、全世界的およびエリアにおける家族歴史活動の推進計画を実施できるよう支援する • 現地の人材およびボランティアの訓練を支援する • Primary contact with the Area Presidency; oversees all FamilySearch operations in the area. • Find and capture genealogical contents to provide sufficient names for temple ordinances. • Contributes to business objectives with a localized impact. • Manage genealogical record identification, negotiation, acquisition, and publication. • Create and develop relationships with records holders. • Represent the Family History Department and the Church with governments, record holders, and organizations, coordinating relationships across public, • private, nonprofit, and commercial sectors. • Create opportunities to capture records and make them available on FamilySearch.org. • Communicate regularly and frequently with internal teams and external stakeholders. • Supports execution of global and area engagement plans in the area. • Assists in training local resources and volunteers.

教会職員に関する一般的な要件(必須): • エンダウメントを受けている場合は、有効な神殿推薦状を保持していること。エンダウメントを受けていない場合は、教会指導者により神殿にふさわしいことが証明されていること • イエス・キリストと教会指導者の教えに従い、誠実、高潔、道徳の原則に沿って生活していること • 必要に応じて、教会指導者と連携・協議し、教会指導者が必要とする支援を行うこと • 忠実かつキリストのような献身的な奉仕を通して、教会員の模範となること • 指定された勤務地において、所定の勤務日・勤務時間を遵守できること • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. • 10+ years of relevant business experience in records, operations, or negotiation. • Proven leadership experience with strong people management skills. • Demonstrated skills in problem-solving, project management, communication, and negotiation. • Ability to analyze report data to set goals and develop strategic plans. • Experience managing and building relationships with organizations and government entities. • Professional communication skills in Japanese and English, both written and verbal. • Experience working effectively with colleagues across regions and time zones toward shared goals. • Strong operational management capability *Applicants may be accepted even if they do not meet all of the aforementioned qualifications. General Requirements for Church Workforce:
• Hold a current temple recommend, if endowed, or be temple worthy as certified by an ecclesiastical leader, if not endowed. • Follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and Church leaders and live principles of honesty, integrity, and morality. • Where applicable, work with, support, and counsel with ecclesiastical leaders to support their needs. • Serve as a role model for Church members through faithful, Christlike, and devoted service. • Maintain regular attendance and timely arrival at the assigned work location.
