As an Admission Counsellor, you will play a vital role in our organization's growth and success. Your primary responsibility will be to guide and support prospective students throughout the admission process, ensuring a positive and informative experience. You will be the face of our institution, representing our values and mission to potential students and their families.
• Greet and engage with prospective students and parents, answering their queries and providing detailed information about our programs and services. • Conduct personalized admission interviews, assessing students' interests, goals, and qualifications to match them with the most suitable academic paths. • Assist students in completing admission applications, ensuring all required documents are submitted accurately and on time. • Follow up with applicants to provide updates on their application status and offer additional support as needed. • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies that attract a diverse range of students, promoting our institution's unique selling points. • Attend educational fairs, open days, and other events to represent our institution and engage with potential students and their influencers. • Maintain accurate records of all admission-related activities, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to provide accurate and compliant advice to applicants. • Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, and other educational institutions to foster referrals and partnerships.
• A bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is preferred. • Minimum 2 years of experience in an admission counselling or customer service role, preferably in the education sector. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others achieve their educational goals. • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software for record-keeping and data management. • Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of inquiries and applications efficiently. • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate and timely processing of admission applications. • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism. • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, during peak admission seasons. • A genuine interest in education and a commitment to providing an exceptional student experience.
